My guy, John C Maxwell has been writing about leadership for over 3 decades. No doubt, he is the boss of leadership.
As a Sociologist I am also familiar with the leadership terrain, but Maxwell has really put life into it. He says there are 5 levels of leadership.
These levels depict different behaviors of those in leadership and why they should be followed or neglected.
It’s commonly agreed that leadership is influence. This article is basically geared towards asking you this question, what kind of leader are you?
This is a series in 3 parts.
This first part is the introduction. According to Maxwell, there are five levels of leadership which are: positional leadership, leadership by permission, leadership by production, leadership by people development and the Pinnacle.
Which level are you?
Join me next week as we shed more light on each of these leadership levels and how it affects how organisations operate.
