Meet Uke Enun Jnr., the Teenager

Those that have known me for years can testify that I have ‘something’ for Teenagers. Introduce you to Meet Uke Enun Jnr., the Teenager using Digital Strategy to reposition businesses.

Teenagers are at a point in their life where they can literally make magic happen if given the opportunity.

In today’s episode of #TheInspiredTeen, we have a Teenager who is already doing a lot regarding business and career. Let’s meet him:

“I’m Uke Enun Jnr. As simple as it gets, I care about business and personal development. My hobbies include Soccer, Movies, and Games. Ultimately, I’m 18 years, striving for legacy in all I do and when it’s all said and done.”

Did you hear that? This18-year-old dude is ‘striving for legacy’. You see! That’s one thing many do not have. If you allow what you do now to have a futuristic effect, you would achieve greatness on the long run.

In one of my write-ups, I shared the story of Mr. Cory, who is presently a Teenager, but started his business at age six with the help of his mother. Anytime I hear of such feats, something in me leaps.

Uke Enun Jnr. is also a my guy! I had fun interviewing him. He loves football and is even a Real Madrid fan. (I’m not a Madrid fan as such, and as a matter of fact, I want Liverpool to win the Champions League). He is a great Christiano Ronaldo fan. He says Ronaldo’s football spirit is contagious. Do you think so? He also plays the round leather game and has a thing for coordination and play making.

He is a student of life, he is currently studying Accounting in the University of Calabar, where he is in his second year.

What makes Uke Enun Jnr. thick is not the Accounting he  is studying, it is the self-education he has given himself. He thanks God for his mom, the internet and many other things for his education.

He says, “I’ve learnt a lot by pushing buttons and trying things I never knew and got interested in so much and have learnt a ton, which some say is beyond my age and wonder what they were doing at my age. Videos most especially and general content on the internet from captains of industry and passionate creators have helped me a ton, which has also added to my own fuel to give back as well.”

Uke Enun Jnr. is a native of Calabar where he was born and bred. He has 4 siblings – 3 Brothers and a sister, and he is the second to the last child.

He also adds, “I’ve come to learn and continue to learn a lot that is needed to raise a business, and that’s what I try to apply to Kutekraft, my mom’s fashion craft, jewelry, and accessories company. When I’m not working on Kutekraft, I’m trying to build my side hustle, where I get to work with businesses on digital advertising. Most recently I began trying my hands on E-commerce, but not to scale yet. More project to launch in the coming days for sure.”

There’s something he said that got me excited, he said, “I really do want to leave a name for generations to come. I hope to accomplish this by just being a good person, being someone that will do more for others, that gives the most to the other person, that tries to ensure the other person is in a better spot.”

I think that is the African Spirit, the new Africa I mean, where we all want the best for others. He adds: “I just genuinely believe I’m not on the earth for me alone, I’m here to make someone’s life, heck people’s lives much better than I found them, to create a remembrance for myself in the end.”

Just in case you are wondering what skills this young chap possesses. Hear him, “I’m proficient in quite a number of things including digital marketing, web designing, e-commerce setup, design, all of which I’m still learning daily.”

Presently he helps 3 businesses organize their digital strategy. He is currently working on a re-launch of Bodievibes.com, his e-commerce business. Bodievibes is a fashion-set only online retailer.

Does he have any advice for other Teenagers? You bet! In just five words he sums it all: “Dare to do it differently!”

He also had this to say about theinspireddream.com.ng: “this was the first interview I’ve ever done that’s so different from the rest.”
