Can you Imagine? Hillary Clinton wants to take Mark Zuckerberg’s job as Facebook CEO. Facebook which is presently the largest social networking company has been in the news many times of late due to data management issues.

Hillary Clinton, the 2016 presidential candidate was at Harvard on Friday receiving the Radcliffe Medal which honors people who have “had a transformative impact on society.” During the event, a democrat from Massachusetts, Attorney General Maura Healey asked Clinton which company she’d want to be a CEO of. Without much ado, she replied, “Facebook”.

She said, “It’s the biggest news platform in the world. Most people in our country get their news — true or not — from Facebook.”

Due to recent happenings in the world as far as data management is concerned, Facebook has been in the news. According to cnet.com “Facebook is working to win back its users’ trust following a series of recent controversies, including the Cambridge Analytica scandal, in which data from as many as 87 million Facebook users were improperly shared with the political consultancy.”

Mark Zuckerburg testified before Congress in April this year on data privacy concerns and censorship and also appeared before the European Parliament earlier this week to discuss the influence Facebook has had on elections there.

Hillary Clinton agreed that Facebook is trying to tackle some of the “unexpected consequences of their business model.”
